MEET THE TEAM FAM

OUR FAMILY HAS BEEN TO ARUBA 100+ TIMES COLLECTIVELY AND EACH ONE OF US HAS BEEN AWARDED “HONORARY AMBASSADOR OF GOOD WILL” BY THE ARUBA TOURISM AUTHORITY.

Vinnie

Hi! I’m the “Vinnie” in Arubavinnie and Aruba is my passion. I’ve been coming to Aruba annually since 1983 when I visited for the first time with my beautiful wife Karen of 45 years, and the island enthralled me with her charms and beauty. We were blessed with our daughter Kristina in 1995, who grew up with Aruba as her second home. Since then, the Aruba Tourism Authority has officially awarded each of our family members with the title of “Honorary Ambassador of Good Will”. Our love for the Island grows deeper every year to the extent that we need to share it with as many people as possible. The time we spend together in our favorite place on earth each year enhances our love and family bond. If you truly love something, the best thing you can do, and what brings you joy, is to share it with others. That’s what prompted us to create this website. We offer varying perspectives that will benefit all ages. Share your interests with us and we will direct you to the things that will make your time in Aruba the best, and hopefully allow you to fall in love too.

Karen

Hi, I’m Karen! When we first visited the island, we absolutely loved it; especially the beautiful warm aqua sea where I could float on my raft while sipping a refreshing mojito! Despite continuing to visit most of the other Caribbean Islands in search of the perfect vacation destination, we found ourselves repeatedly drawn back to this happy little island where we’d spend a week at various, beautiful hotel properties. When our daughter Kristina was 4 months old, she made her first trip to the island. We decided to stay longer at one of the timeshare properties where we could eat in or dine out, enjoy all of the activities offered and make many new friends. Our family has returned to our “home- away-from-home” every year, while also introducing family and friends to all the island has to offer. What I enjoy most about Aruba is its family-friendly, safe-and-welcoming attitude of the people that call Aruba home. Let us share some of our tips and insights into making your trip to Aruba one to remember!

Kristina

Hi! I’m Kristina and I’m the lucky daughter of two people with massive hearts. I’m 26 and I’ve been to Aruba 26 times, spending over a year of my life on our beautiful island. I have always considered Aruba my second home. Aruba makes me feel safe, loved, and rejuvenated. If I had to sum up the island in one word, it would be family. I have some of my most-cherished family moments on the island. We have Aruban friends, whom we consider family there, and we love bringing new family members to the island to experience the shared joy. I’ve brought my friends over the years, and Aruba proves to be the perfect combination of sunny relaxation and exciting nightlife. Wonderful Weather

If you have ever experienced one of those long-awaited vacations where a number of days have been lost to inclement weather, you will definitely appreciate the all-but-guaranteed sunny days in Aruba. The occasional shower lasts about 15 minutes before you are back to sun and fun. Aruba's annual average rainfall is a mere 18 inches.

The Island is known for its perfect weather year-round. Its bright sun and warm, breezy trade winds will captivate you. But remember the sunscreen! Aruba is very close to the equator and the sun demands your utmost respect. Be sure to make some time for a cool, refreshing drink in the shade. Aruba Ariba anyone?

Spectacular Sunsets

A treat for the creative eye and lens, the sunsets in Aruba are vivacious, bursting with color and light up the sparkling ocean. Pro tip: Don't shy away from a viewing on a cloudy evening; sometimes the clouds only enhance the beauty.

Abundant Adventures

Whether you enjoy playing on land, on the sea or in the sky, there will be something to excite you in Aruba. There is a wide array of water sports to choose from, as well as horseback riding, golfing, parasailing and endless others. If you’re coming simply to relax, there are sugary, white-sand beaches along beautiful azure waters.

Sail with pirates and walk the plank to the rope swing! Snorkel with multicolored Parrotfish and iridescent Angelfish. Drive an ATV or let a horse be your ride along the island's isolated and intriguing north shore. View sea turtles from a high altitude as you parasail high in the sky. It's all good and it's all in Aruba!

Friendly & Safe

Aruba is known as "One Happy Island" and it’s just that. The people you will meet in Aruba are truly the most welcoming and warmest people you will find at any vacation destination. The island is full of people looking to make you smile. Plus, it's one of the safest destinations in the Caribbean. You will feel welcome from the moment you step off the plane until the unfortunate moment when you have to return home.
